As per Pollution control board, or Central Pollution Control Board CPCB, the Bio-Medical Waste Management rules were published in 2016, also known as BMW rules 2016. Each medical facility including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, pathology labs, medical research, or educational institutions, come under these rules, as per guidelines the biomedical waste collection, segregation, treatment, processing, and their disposal have to be done in an environment-friendly manner.

The two major parties involved in this process are :

• the source or facility where BMW is generated and stored, also known as Providers
• the treatment plant or waste treatment agency, also known as the CBMWTF (Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility)

Each of these units, Providers and Agency, are required to install Barcode based bio-medical waste management system that can collect and share data among each other i.e. provider and agency, and also share data to pollution control board. Our Android-based mobile app and associated web-based portal has complete barcode solution as per the BMW rules and can record and track each bag from the source to treatment plant. Our system work only with fingerprint or password protected security system where only authorized users can operate. It is easy to use system with easy navigation that any operator or user can operate without any restriction of language or computer knowledge.
